Privacy statement

In short

This site uses no cookies, does not track what you look at and has no trackers. We collect only what we need to answer your message or send your order.

If you use the contact form

We email your name, your email address and your message to ourselves so we can reply. Nothing more.

We keep that email for as long as the conversation runs and a year after, in case you come back to it.

If you order something

We need your name, address and email address to send the work and confirm the order.

Your payment details never reach us. Checkout happens at Stripe, which processes your data as our processor. Stripe has its own privacy statement at stripe.com.

Order records and invoices must be kept for seven years under Dutch tax law.

Who else sees your data

The site runs at Vercel, which keeps technical logs including IP addresses. Our email runs through Hostnet. Checkout through Stripe. Nobody else.

We do not sell your data and do not pass it on, unless the law requires it.

Typefaces

The letters on this site are loaded through Google Fonts, and Google sees your browser's IP address in the process. We are changing this so the letters come from our own server and nothing goes to Google.

What you can ask

You may always ask what data we hold, have it corrected, have it deleted or object to its use. An email to support@langzaam-leven.nl is enough and you get an answer within a month.

If we cannot resolve a disagreement, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
