Who you are dealing with

Langzaam Leven is the shop of Els Schram. The works are made and sold by Els Schram.

Address: Noorddijk 31 3284 LB Zuid Beijerland Nederland Email: support@langzaam-leven.nl

These terms apply to everything you order through langzaam-leven.nl.

What you are buying

Every work is an original and exists only once. Once a work is sold it is gone.

The photographs are made with care, but a screen never shows colour and texture exactly. Small differences between the photograph and the work are not a defect. If in doubt, ask for extra photographs before you order.

Prices

All prices are in euros and exclude shipping. No VAT is charged.

Shipping depends on the size and the weight of the work and on the country it is going to. You hear the amount before you pay, and collecting it in Zuid-Beijerland is possible too.

Ordering and payment

You enquire about a work with the button on its page, which opens an email with the title already filled in. We tell you whether the work is still available, what shipping costs or when you could collect it, and then send a payment request. The sale is concluded once your payment has succeeded.

Until you have paid you are committed to nothing. An enquiry is a question, not an order.

A work may have just been sold when your enquiry arrives. We will say so straight away and nothing is charged.

Delivery

We wrap every work ourselves, in brown paper and twine, and send it insured.

Within the Netherlands and Belgium that usually takes three to seven working days, within Europe five to twelve. These are estimates, not fixed terms. If it takes longer than thirty days you may cancel and get your money back.

If the work arrives damaged, let us know within a week with a photograph and we will sort it out.

Fourteen days to change your mind

You have fourteen days to withdraw from the purchase without giving a reason. That period starts on the day you receive the work.

Tell us within those fourteen days at support@langzaam-leven.nl. You then have another fourteen days to send the work back.

Handle the work in that time as you would in a shop: looking is fine, using is not. If it loses value because of how you handled it, we may charge for that.

The cost of returning it is yours. Send it back as you received it, well packed and insured, because until it reaches us the risk is yours.

Once the work is back, or once you have shown that you sent it, you get the full amount back within fourteen days, including the shipping you paid when ordering.

If something is wrong

You are entitled to a work that is what you could reasonably expect. If it is not, let us know and we will work it out together.

Complaints go to support@langzaam-leven.nl and you get an answer within fourteen days. If we cannot agree, you can turn to the European ODR platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

The work is yours, the image stays hers

When you buy a work, you buy the work. The copyright remains with Els Schram.

You may hang it, resell it or give it away. What you may not do is reproduce it or use it commercially, for instance as an image on a product, without permission.

Law

Dutch law applies to these terms. That does not take away the protection you have as a consumer under the mandatory law of the country where you live.
